Birthday card for a crafty lady

I made this card for a lady who loves to craft. She loves her dogs and enjoys doing mosaic projects. I used Magnolia stamps and coloured them in with autumn coloured Copics. I sewed my papers with a sewing machine. I attached some colourful ribbon. On the inside of the card I used a Martha Stewart butterfly border punch for the pocket to hold the removable tag and decorated it with some mosaic tiles and mirrors and a heart.

Family Challenge Card 10 - Baby Theme

For my baby card I used a dress template from one of the Magnolia Ink magazines for a dress and I just cut the bottom of the dress to look like a babygro for a boy. The paper is from a paper pad called Snuggle Bug by K & Company.  I added some ribbon and buttons and used a baby sticker pack which I had. I stamped BOY with my individual alphabet stamps. The baby is a Tilda stamp coloured with Copics and Stickles.

Family Challenge Card 9 - Brown and Lace Theme

I bought two pieces of paper for this card, the cream floral which I used my distress ink (Tea Dye) to colour the raised flowers and the corrugated copper paper, and used cream Bazzill dotted swiss paper for the card.

My stamp is one I’ve had for years that reminded me of the wallpaper I had in my dining room in America which was in black and white toile. I used all the shades of brown Copics I have to colour the stamp. I added some lace behind the corrugated paper with glue dots.

The inside of the card is similar but I used a Magnolia stamp for the tag and distressed it too and added some leaves and a lace bow sticker.

Of course Stickles finishes it all off.

Family Challenge Card 8 - Anniversary Theme

For my card this week I used Bazzill Dotted Swiss as the pink background and some papers from a Card magazine for the patterned papers. The stamp is coloured with Copics. I used a Martha Stewart heart  border punch and a Spellbinders Shapeabilities for the background of the "Together Forever" stamp. I tied some ribbon around the lacy ribbon at the top and love the way the ribbon curled so I just left it just like that and put a doily behind it which I inked very lightly with silver.

The inside I used more heart punches and attached a Love charm to one of the hearts and made some removable tags to write on.

Family Challenge Card 7 - Yellow

I used Bazzill Dotted Swiss for my paper and my patterned paper is from DCWV Nana's Kids paper pack. I used a handmade tear bear from mulberry paper, his clothes are made with card stock and the star is a fabric sticker which I used stickles on to brighten. I used blue and green glittered brads and sewed the papers. I fed some ribbon through punched holes on the side. My ladybugs are from a sticker set Wild Saffron by K & Company.

The Adorable Boy was from some stickers I had in my box of supplies.

Family Challenge Card 6 - Boy Theme

For the boy's card I used a Magnolia Edwin stamp and his bicycle. I added some Glossy Accent to the bicycle frame. I cut the inside of a doily which reminded me of bicycle wheels and used some Stickles and brads and bows. I attached brads and wound ribbon round them. I added a tag to the inside of the card also decorated with brads and ribbon.

Family Challenge Card 5 - Purple

The base of my card is made with purple Bazzill Dotted Swiss paper. The heart border punch is a Martha Stewart round the page punch. I tore my two patterned papers and inked the edges, then wet them so they would curl up a bit and look tattered. I sewed some lace under the one paper and used a Magnolia word stamp. Magnolia Tilda and her bench are coloured in with Copic markers and some Stickles. I love these Prima Essentials Raspberry flowers and I used glittered brads in the centre of each with a doily and some leaves in the corner.

Family Challenge Card 4 - Beach Theme

I made a 5.5 x 5.5 inch easel card. My stamps is Lexi from Gurlee Girl which has changed their store name to Pretty Little Stamps. I coloured her in with Copics and cut the card out using a Spellbinders Nestabilities die. The sand and sky are blended with Distress Ink and Color Q chalks. I made the umbrella and bucket and inked and used Liquid Pearls and Stickles. Prima flowers, lace, ribbon and charms complete the front of the card. The inside of the card has a removable tag and a K&Co. sticker "You are my sunshine".
