Club Kenny K challenge City Star

Thanks to Kenny K for this stunning freebie which I entered into the Club Kenny K challenge.

2016 Challenge 16 : The Dreamer

I made my first Christmas card using paper from the Dovecraft Tis The Season pack. The frame, corners and tags are a Leabilities die set inked with Barn Red and Aged Mahogony ink. The tree is made from a straw and honestly not my best job. I just added a few pearls, twine,  sticker and ready made bow and used an MS border punch for the green paper. The stamp is by The Paper Shelter called "December 26".

2016 Challenge 14 : Birdie Num Num

My stamp is by The Paper Shelter "That's something you don't see every day". My background paper is from the Sherri Baldy my sailor girl paper pack. Tree, fence and bunting and doily dies. The beach sand is part of a Jolees sticker...yip...you read correctly...I went thru my stickers this week. Hot glued some flowers and shells on.

2016 Challenge 12 : Science

I used The Paper Shelter My Cute Cyborg stamp. My background paper is from a mini paper pad called Time Flies. The purple frame was cut on the Cameo. I used alcohol inks on the embossed paper and added some brads. I heat embossed a doily and cut it apart to use pieces. The doilies are die cuts and I added a Steampunk cog and brad to the centre. I punched a tag and used sticky silver words and a screw brad which I coloured black with a Copic marker.

2016 Challenge 7 : Swing

I made a front open flap card. I added a scalloped punched border to the edges. My paper is from from the Prima Delight paper paxk. I added sticky pearls to the flower centres. The hearts were cut from the Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge. The stamp is Kenny K. I stickled a butterfly die.

2016 Challenge 6 : Framed

My papers are from the Venetian Collection pack. I added some stickles and pearls to the mask. I dry brushed the big frame with a variety of metallic paints then added some  feathers and Candi Dots. I stuck a string of gems onto the feather. The small frame is part of a 3D sticker pack. The little butterfly is a die which I inked and stickled and the sentiment is a die. The lace corner is from The Ribbon girl.

2016 Challenge 5 : Get your surf on!

I used a Magnolia Tilda Splash stamp and cut it out with a Nesties. I added some heat embossing around the edges and distressed the edges of my papers. The clouds are a flower punch and I cut little nibs out of them. My background paper and sentiment are from the Heartfelt Creations Countryside Evening pack. The seahorses are Magnolia stamps. I added lots of Stickles and made my own surfboards. I added some lace and a string of pearls to the bottom of the card and hot glued some shells on. The birds are a die which I coloured with Copics. They turned out nice and shimmery (300gm white shimmery paper).

2016 Challenge 4 : Whitewashed

I used a sheet of paper from the Fabscraps Shabby Chic pad and painted over it with white craft paint and then added some modeling paste. I did the same to the patterned paper which is from the Daphne Collection Heartfelt Creations. For my picture I photocopied a picture from a magazine and transferred it to fabric using mod podge then added a layer of mod podge. The lace and flowers are just a a variety from my stash and a few pearls and a die cut frame.

2016 Challenge 3 : Long Hot Summer

I used a beach background you cut for me as well as the background to my Elzybells stamp. I used dies for the chair and flipflops, palm trees, clouds and a Nesties for the stamp. The sandy beach bits and starfish are part of a Jolee's sticker pack. The bucket was a flowerpot I added a handle to and inked and added liquid pearls dots and stripes. The "cool summer" were part of a sticker pack.

2016 Challenge 2 : Couple

I used The Paper Shelter "Hey Baby" stamp.I added quite a lot of white gel pen accents and glossy accents to the car window, mirror and light. The red heart was a left over from a previous project. The silver brads are stuck on with puffy pads. The flowers are an assortment from my stash. I used one of my treasure white beaded twirls. The white flowers with turquoise brads are part of a pack Chelsea gave me for Christmas. I added the Love charm with a ring attached to a safety pin.

For my background I used the wavy die I bought last week. I marked out the 15cm paper at 5cm increments and cut the die 4 times using 3 sheets of paper together. Once cut I separated them and used the white as the base for the inside of my card and cut away the dotted edges of the red papers. For the front of the card I stuck the papers down without any cutting. I used a heart doily and a piece of lace I bought at Chamdor a while ago.

2016 Challenge 1 : New craft item

My newest purchase was a Gate Fold card I'd bought from Silhouette and mini adhesive pearls and mini bow die which were the last items I bought at a store. I sprayed the gate fold with silver glitter (from you). I used a Cuttlebug 2 piece embossing folder called Blossom Dance for the pink and yellow backgrounds and stuck a few pearls on. I added the With love tag with ribbon punched at the sides. I coloured in a Tilda with heart stamp and added mini pearls to her dress and stuck her with puffy pads.

Secret Challenge 9 - 12

We continued our secret challenge by choosing stamps as our themes. There are just so many stamps to choose from and we hadn't used enough yet, so here we go...

Wee Stamps:
This is my favourite Wee Stamp. My papers are Heartfelt Creations Sunny Day. I distressed all the edges and the doily and banner with Tea Dye and Stormy Sky.  The floral arrangement is from my new purchases except the roses. I added a butterfly with a crystal trail.

Paper Shelter:
I used Fabscraps Travel Culture for my background. The striped strip on the right is the reverse side of the background paper. I punched an MS border punch, I think its called Iron Gate.  Behind my stamp I punched a doily with a Fiskars circle punch.  The bow is a die, I just love it. I put it together with an Eiffel Tower brad. The sentiment is stuck onto half the base of the bow die. The stamp is Paper Shelter Si Belle.

Magnolia:
I made a monochromatic card using Tilda.  I cut her and the tag out on a Nesties. The little flowers are a die. You use two pieces and feed them through a cut in the tag then fold the backs like brads. The little hearts were the cutouts left over from the die. My papers are from Amy Tangerine Plus One and Basic Grey Out of Print. I sewed the papers, added some lace and pearls and a few roses.

Kenny K:
My paper is from a Bo Bunny paper pack called Serenade Collection.  I used Barn Door distress ink on the edge of my tag which is a Nestie. I cut another round Nestie and the words are a die. I added pearls and put Glossy Accents on the circle. I used some eyelets and twine. The sunglasses are from a Jolees sticker pack which I used because the gap seemed too empty.
