Our challenge this week at The Paper Shelter is 

CUT IT OUT!

This week I used The Paper Shelter image called A Refreshing Drink.  She is coloured with Copics and fussy cut.  I cut out the background with white pillars.  The background papers are from the Heartfelt Creations paper pack called Wildwood Cottage Collection.  I added Prima flowers, metal dots and and the bird is part of the Arbee Australia bird sticker pack.

It's summer time at the Paper Shelter and a great challenge.  I used an image called A Puppy at the Beach.  I coloured the image with Copics.  The papers are from the Stamperia Atelier paper pack.  The sentiment is from LOTV.   The flowers are by 49 and Market called

 Rustic Blooms - Bluejay.

The Paper Shelter Challenge #532 - Something Yummy (Food and/or drink)

 

Welcome crafters!

The image I chose for this challenge was just perfect.  Nothing more yummy than a cold slice of watermelon on a hot summer's day.  The image is called The Sweetest Watermelon.  I used Copics to colour the image and distress inks for the soft blue sky.  The papers are from the American Crafts Amy Tangerine paper pack.  I used a tag die by Spellbinders Shapeabilities and added an eyelet and polka dot ribbon.  

I added some wooden watermelon slice embellishments.

The sentiment is partly die cut alphabets and a stamp combination.

Digi Doodle Studios - Eloise

 

Welcome crafters!

For my card this week I used a Digi Doodle Studios image called Eloise.  She is coloured with Copics and cut out with a Wonky Stitches die.  The scalloped circles are cut from a Nestabilities die.  The papers are from the Marianne Design Sea Sparkle paper pack.  I added a Fiskars scalloped border which reminded me of the waves on the paper.  The sentiment is part of a Marianne Design "Sending Birthday Wishes" stamp set.

Digi Doodle Studios July Challenge - Laine and Sandy

 

Welcome crafters!

Our July challenge at Digi Doodle Studios has gone live. Our challenge is to use 3 or more layers and a DDS digi paper pack.  My image is called Laine and Sandy.  I used Copics to colour the image and cut it out with a Nestabilities die.  The digital paper pack is called Ships Ahoy. There is a great variety of 8x8 inch papers in this pack.  I used a Fiskars ribbon border punch and added some polka dot sheer ribbon.  The scalloped border is also a Fiskars border punch. The sentiment is LOTV and I added a variety of flowers.  The white leaves are by Little Birdie.

I enjoyed making this summer poolside card as I'm a bit tired of our cold winter days.  I used My Swimsuitt digi stamp and coloured her with Copics.  I drew in the poolside background and umbrella.  I added some Dress It Up "Gardening" buttons and a lovely resin basket of roses.  The sentiment is part of a stamp set by Dovecraft.
