The Paper Shelter Challenge #564 - Summertime!

 

Welcome to my blog!

It's summer time at the Paper Shelter and a great challenge.  I used an image called A Puppy at the Beach.  I coloured the image with Copics.  The papers are from the Stamperia Atelier paper pack.  The sentiment is from LOTV.   The flowers are by 49 and Market called

 Rustic Blooms - Bluejay.

It's summertime in South Africa and December is a time for the beach.  So I made a card using I wish I was there!  The image is coloured with Copics,  My background paper is from the Marianne Design Sea Sparkle paper pack and the beach huts and red striped paper is from the Marianne Design Seabreeze paper pack.  I added a die cut lighthouse, a strip of lace and a birthday sentiment.

For our summer themed challenge, I used Vivienne Beach Girl, coloured her with Copics and fussy cut her and placed her on a decoupaged napkin/serviette.  The background is quite busy so I have only added a few laser cut  shells and sentiment.

Hello again!

For my second card for March I chose "For the love of Dawn". As usual the image is coloured with Copics.  My papers are from  Sherri Baldy My Besties "Sailor Girl" paper pack.  I cut the bunting from one of the papers.  I added a strip of lace and trim.  I used laser cuts from the KaiserCraft "Life's a Beach" pack and a Magnolia sentiment.

Our Digi Doodle Studios challenge has gone live and I can't wait to see all the lovely cards everyone creates for our challenge this month.

I used Stormi Vega Beach Girl and coloured her with copics.  I cut the image out using a Wonky Stitches die.  My papers are from the Couture Creations Sea Breeze collection.  I added a laser cut sentiment and shell.  The flip flops, turtle and crab are Dress It Up buttons and I added a few shells.
