The Paper Shelter Challenge #578 - Colours of Winter

Welcome to my blog!

Our new challenge has gone live at The Paper Shelter.  This week our challenge is to use winter colours. I have gone for blues, pinks and purples as I love to use non-traditional Christmas decorations.

Have you seen our new colouring books.  Have a look at the awesome selection on The Paper Shelter website.  I used one of the background image and Christmas digital image called Here is Santa.  I coloured the images with Copics and fussy cut Santa.  I added some sparkly trim and a festive sentiment by Upikit Glittering Stickers.

Our fabulous sponsor, The Paper Shelter, has a $30 gift certificate up for grabs for our lucky winner this week, provided you use a Paper Shelter product.  You could use a digital stamp, paper or printable image.  If you don't use a Paper Shelter product, you could still win 3 digi stamps of your choice!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #576 - Fun Folds

Welcome to my blog!

Our Paper Shelter challenge this week is to use fun folds on your card. For the two borders of my card I made a folded lattice braid.  The image is called Wild Rose, coloured with Copics and fussy cut.  The papers are from the Bo Bunny Silver & Gold Collection paper pack.  The berries and leaves are by Prima flowers called Candy Cane Lane.  I added a pine cone, berries and gold stamens and a sentiment.

Some close up pics...

The Paper Shelter Challenge #574 - Stencil It!

Welcome to my blog!

We have a really fun challenge this week at The Paper Shelter using stencils. I used a puzzle stencil by Crealies No. 5.  I used modeling paste to stencil all three sizes of the puzzle pieces.  I sponged different shades of distress ink over the stencils.  The image called Intertwined Hearts is coloured with Copics, cut out with a Spellbinders die and I distressed the edges.  I added a variety of flowers, sparkly gems and a sentiment relating to the puzzle stencil -
"Thanks for being a PIECE of my life".
