The Paper Shelter Challenge #578 - Colours of Winter

Welcome to my blog!

Our new challenge has gone live at The Paper Shelter.  This week our challenge is to use winter colours. I have gone for blues, pinks and purples as I love to use non-traditional Christmas decorations.

Have you seen our new colouring books.  Have a look at the awesome selection on The Paper Shelter website.  I used one of the background image and Christmas digital image called Here is Santa.  I coloured the images with Copics and fussy cut Santa.  I added some sparkly trim and a festive sentiment by Upikit Glittering Stickers.

Our fabulous sponsor, The Paper Shelter, has a $30 gift certificate up for grabs for our lucky winner this week, provided you use a Paper Shelter product.  You could use a digital stamp, paper or printable image.  If you don't use a Paper Shelter product, you could still win 3 digi stamps of your choice!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #538 - Something Cold

 Welcome to my blog!

Our challenge this week at The Paper Shelter challenge is Something Cold. I love cold weather and just got to spend a few weeks over Christmas and New Year in the UK.  It was heavenly being in COLD weather compared to sunny South Africa.

The image I used for my card is The Snowflake Fairy.  She is pre-coloured.  I love non-traditional coloured Christmas cards so I went with pinks and blues using a textured embossed background paper.  The sentiment is part of a stamp set by Crafter's Companion called Christmas Tree in the Flower Fairies Friends range.  I added a few Say it in Crystals.

Digi Doodle Studios Happy Eulalia Skating Gnomie

Welcome to my blog!

It's all about the holidays. Winter and Christmas time is such a special time of the year. I used Happy Eulalia Skating Gnomie. She is coloured with Copics and cut out with a Nestabilities die.  I love the laser cut snowflakes and I've added a pearl to each centre.  I used a delicate paper doily in the background.  The papers are from the Mintay by Karola "Christmas Stories" paper pack.

I just love the mini Christmas tree and Christmas baubles by Dress It Up and I added a few metal bells.
