StarStampz May challenge - Happy Birthday - Guest Designer

 

Welcome to my blog!

I have the honour of being a Guest Designer at StarStampz challenge blog this month.

The theme for this challenge is: 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

My daughters love to read and this image is a perfect card for either of them.  I used an image called Autumn Fall Girl Reading.  She is coloured with Copics and cut with with a Spellbinders Nestabilities die.  The papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Sunny Day Collection.  I added some autumn leaves by Prima and flowers by Little Birdie and a few enamel dots by April & Ivy.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a local craft shop.

Our challenge this week at The Paper Shelter is YOUR FAVOURITES.  

My favourite season of the year is autumn. I love the colours of the changing leaves, the cooler days and crisp mornings.  For my card, I used an image called Autumn Attitude.  She is coloured with Copics.  The papers are from The Paper Boutique called Kraft. The flowers are called Luna by Prima.  I tied a piece of hessian around the card ending in a bow.

Digi Doodle Studios - Joie Autumn

 

Welcome crafters!

Today is a sad day as this is the last challenge card for Digi Doodle Studios.  They are closing their digital image store.  So go shopping before the end of October.  There's a huge variety of stunning images, sentiments and digital papers.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the design team, thanks to Dina and all the DT members. Your cards are a huge inspiration.

I have used a Digi Doodle Studios image called Joie Autumn. She is coloured with Copics and cut out with a Nellie's Multi Frame.  I added a strip of white lace across the middle of the card.  I used autumn coloured leaves and a variety of flowers.

Digi Doodle Studios Jorie

 

Welcome to my blog!

My second card for Digi Doodle Studios is an autumn themed shaped card.  I made the card in the shape of a terracotta plant pot.  I used one of our new release images called Jorie. She is coloured with Copics and cut her out with a Nestabilities die.  I added some beautiful Prima autumn leaves, acorns and an apple button by Dress It Up.

Digi Doodle Studios Booker Autumn

 

Welcome to my blog!

I decided to go full blown autumn with my card this week as it's my favourite time of year and seeing the changing colours of the leaves is so stunning.  I used Booker Autumn and coloured him with Copics. The background paper is from the Studio Light Woodland Winter paper pack.  I added three strips of hessian in orange, green and yellow.  I cut the image with a Nestabilities die and added a kraft paper frame.  The autumn leaves and acorn are part of the Prima Flowers autumn leaves range.  They are so vibrant and beautiful.  I added a few miniature acorns too.
