This week I used a pre-coloured Paper Shelter image called The Saxophonist.  I tore and distressed the edges of the music paper.  The background papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Antiquity Collection.  I added some music notes and enamel dots..

CUT IT OUT!

This week I used The Paper Shelter image called A Refreshing Drink.  She is coloured with Copics and fussy cut.  I cut out the background with white pillars.  The background papers are from the Heartfelt Creations paper pack called Wildwood Cottage Collection.  I added Prima flowers, metal dots and and the bird is part of the Arbee Australia bird sticker pack.

PASTEL COLOURS

This week I used The Paper Shelter image called Just roll with it.  The images is coloured with Copics and fussy cut.  The background papers are from my stash, the lovely lace I bought on a trip to Australia, I used a doily die cut as a background to my image.  I added a ribbon bow,  Prima flowers and enamel dots. The "With Love" sentiment is a die cut.

This week I used The Paper Shelter image called Bunny Princess.  She is coloured with Copics and fussy cut.  The papers are from the Stamperia Pink Christmas paper pack.  I frame her with the Dream Flower Language floral frames.  I added delicate strips of lace and a lace doily.  The flowers are by 49 and Market and Little Birdie.  

 added some enamel dots by Crafters Choice.

This week I used The Paper Shelter image called With all my heart.  The image is coloured with Copics. and cut with a Spellbinders Nestabilities.  The papers are from the same digital image and I cut them in 5 strips.  The sentiment is from a Little Darling stamp set called All Occasions Sentiments.  I added a variety of flowers to finish it off.

MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

This week I used The Paper Shelter image called Coffee Break.  She is coloured with Copics.  I used a brick stencil by Crealies for my background in a gradient of white to black using chalk stamp pads.  I added some pennants by Floral Cafe, the organiser and note pad and pencil are stickers by Handmade Decorating for Cards, and the clock is a peel-off sticker by Upikit.

Doe cut foiled sentiment by Papermania.

The Paper Shelter Tribute - in honour of those we love

 Welcome to my blog!

This week and next, rather than running our usual Blog Hop, the Design Team at The Paper Shelter is honouring our beautiful co-founder Veronica, who tragically left us on the 25th of September 2024.

Veronica was a kind, supportive, beautiful soul, who alongside her co-founder Pedro, produced the images we all know and love to create with.

There is a vacuum in the world today, where Veronica used to be, and we all miss her terribly.

Veronica, you are forever a dear friend, a beautiful soul and forever in my heart!

Veronica so enjoyed creating the new colouring books, so I wanted to use one of the very beautiful images from the Angelic Grace colouring book.  The image is the star of the card.  I coloured her with Copics, added some background lace, and some flowers and beaded twirls and a sentiment.
