The Paper Shelter #324 - Birthday Card

I thought of my niece while I made this card.  She loves tea and coffee and recently had the most stunning ombre highlights in her hair.  She needs a good break and a cuppa every now and then from teaching little ones.

I used the Pastel Goth digital stamp and coloured her with Copics. My papers are from the Maja Design Coffee in the Arbour paper stack.  I tore the edges of the paper and distressed them with Stormy Sky distress ink.

The "Best Wishes"sentiment is from the Marianne Design
Sending Birthday Wishes stamp set.

The cut out border was cut on my Silhouette Cameo.
The flowers and butterfly are by Prima.

Our fabulous sponsor, The Paper Shelter, has a $30 gift certificate up for grabs for our lucky winner this week, provided you use a Paper Shelter product.  You could use a digital stamp, paper or printable image.  If you don't use a Paper Shelter product, you could still win 3 digi stamps of your choice!

The Paper Shelter Challenge #322 - Shape It Up

This card brings back good memories of the ice cream truck driving around our neighborhood in the summer playing music. I used the pre-coloured Cool Lolly digital stamp. My papers are from the Authentique Sweetness paper pack. For the wheels I punched out different size circles and added a sticky bead to the centre. The window is cut out and a window die placed behind it with parts of a doily as lace curtains.  The rest of the doily is used as a border above my striped paper.

I just added a few embellishments on this card

Boys' Toys

Firstly I'd hope you all had a wonderful festive season
and best wishes for 2018!

May this year be filled with  love, passion, creativity and crafting!

For this card I decided to use a Cricut image and paper pieced the car. I added some Glossy Accents to the lights. My stamp is Casual Boy by the Paper Shelter, I cut the image in a tag shape. I love this stamp. It reminds me of two little treasures in our family. I coloured him with Copics and added some metal screws brads to the tags.  The sentiment is from the Forever Friends Birthday Wishes sticker pack.

Thanks for popping by to my blog, and I hope to see you again soon!
