The Paper Shelter Challenge #360 - Winter Fun

Our challenge this week is “Winter Fun”.
I LOVE WINTER!  I LOVE SNOW!  I LOVE COOL WEATHER!
And it’s already way too hot in SA.
So I’m day-dreaming of a snowy winter day as I make this card!

I used the Paper Shelter Lady of Falling Leaves digi stamp. She is coloured with Copics, a touch of Stickles and some pearly white liquid pearls. My paper is from Bo-Bunny’s Gift of Love series.  I tried out a new craft item called “Snow Writer” which works great for snow in small areas. I added a strip of silver trim and some adhesive snowflake gems.

Our fabulous sponsor, The Paper Shelter, has a $30 gift certificate up for grabs for our lucky winner this week, provided you use a Paper Shelter product.  You could use a digital stamp, paper or printable image.  If you don't use a Paper Shelter product, you could still win 3 digi stamps of your choice!

My Besties Spanish Reminder#52 Challenge

Hello Everybody!

My Besties Spanish Challenge Blog Challenge #52 Reminder
I hope you'll join us in our October 2018 challenge!
The theme is always
ANYTHING GOES!

I have used My Besties Steampunk Valentine IMG895 on my card.  I coloured her with Copics, Glossy Accents on her glasses, a touch of Stickles and a gel pen for those teeny tiny dots.  The butterfly border is a Martha Stewart punch.  My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Countryside Evening paper pack.

The wings charms is an Oxide jewellery item.  The gears on the corner of the image are laser cut wood and I painted with them white gesso and then added different colours of Prima Metallique and Opal wax.

The butterfly and lock charm are from Ribtex.
The gears are a variety including Tim Holtz.

Remember, you can enter using any image, but we'd love to see a My Besties image on your creation.

The Paper Shelter Challenge #358 - Digital Image

Hi there, fellow Paper Shelter bloggers...this week our challenge is to use a digital image.

I used the lovely Paper Shelter Purity stamp.  She is coloured with Copics.  I added a lace frame around her.  The paper and sentiment is from the Wild Rose Studio Birds & Berries paper pack.

I tried a different layout and I think it turned out quite nice with the lovely Christmas paper inside.

The Paper Shelter Challenge #356 - Time to Celebrate

It's time to celebrate with a birthday card.  I used the lovely Spring Enchantment digi stamp this week.  She is coloured with Copics and a bit of Stickles.  The paper is from the Wild Rose Studio Winter Bauble paper pack.  Yes, I used winter paper with a spring stamp - call me crazy but these are such beautiful colours and papers, I just couldn't wait till winter.

The doilies were cut on the Cameo and the blue border is punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. The leaves were cut on my Cuttlebug using the Whimsical Leaves die by Sue Wilson (Creative Expressions).  One of my favourite embellishments is a beaded swirl from The Ribbon Girl.
