This week I chose the Cute Dressmaker digital stamp. I
coloured her in with Copics. In line
with the theme of layers, and bunches of them, I added layers of different
papers which remind me of plaids and polka dot printed fabrics. The background paper is from the stunning
DCWV Lace and Linen paper pack which has a 3D look. I distressed the edges of the papers by
tearing them using a patterned ruler and adding Antique Linen distress ink. I also used a corner embossing punch on the image. I have added some sewing themed buttons and
lace flowers. I cut one lace flower and used the petals as leaves and a variety
of other flowers and sticky pearls. My
sentiment is part of the Kaiser Craft Birthday stamp set. I tried my hand at some Metallique Alchemy
Art on the laser cut sewing machine and dressform and they turned out quite nice.
